Yesica at Dreams?

Recommended Posts

I wanted to see if there was anyone else on here that has Yesica as their WC at Dreams in Cabo. I have sent several emails about our site visit in August about what we needed to do while there and have got emails back but nothing with specifics. Just wanted to see how others were doing with her as their WC. THANKS!!

Aww, you get there the day after I leave! Anyways, I contacted Mariana to specifically set up and appointment with her. I have a STINKLOAD of questions (some of which are obvious, but I want to confirm anyways). I'm hosting my Welcome Dinner there, so I can pretty much arrange everything through Mariana. I'd suggest setting up an appointment with Yesica.

Hi Jessica,

yes they can be lax but they usually cover everything at the meeting.

I would send yessica an email stating:

1. what time to meet?

2. what you would like to discuss?

3. if you want to do a tasting, what items?

4. any extras that you are considering ie: firedancers, poker night

5. give pics of anything special you want ie flowers, decor, etc.

some people plan their weddings w/o a site visit and things turn out great.

they are a little vague sometimes- so if you have a questions about ANYTHING make sure you ask because they will not bring it up. but remember this is totally new to you but they do this almost every couple of days so they sort of have the process down- just make sure you come with a list of questions and make sure once you return home you send her a email reviewing and confirming everything you discussed at the meeting so that you will have a written confirmation. HTH!

That's a good point. To them it might seem like a no-brainer since they do it so often, so they might just assume you know what to expect or what to do. Like I said, for my site visit I have a zillion questions, and a lot of them might seem obvious, but I want to be really sure. Plus, I'm sure once we start talking, some of my questions will get answered.

I really haven't spoken to Mariana too much. We just set up the meeting and the tasting. I told her a had a bunch of questions, and she told me to bring 'em all!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
