Maybe I read that wrong. We would split the original $10 (less than a dollar each) and then pay for shipping to us from the person who receives, but I would think that would be the same as or more than $12, no?

Plus the cost of repackaging costs.
From what I can tell, the rates would be anywhere between $4-8 each for shipping if Ann sent them to us (not including envelopes/bubble wrap for each re-shipment)-(estimated by looking at the DHL website and comparing rates within each zone of delivery, with a 5lb package).

If the vender shipped to each individual person, each person would pay $12 for their shipment.

I'll let you know....
This solution would be ideal.. and great advertising for the vendor.. then it would be $2.75 each + shipping.. no need for Ann to do all the work.. I would probably rather have him drop ship than save $4 by having Ann do all the work.

it's not too late - i don't know that any decisions have been made yet! the question now is, if i understand correctly, does everyone pay $12 for them to ship directly to you, or pay the one $10 fee to ship to one person (me?) and then i turn around and ship them to everyone individually (maria is estimating the cost around $6-8 i think, plus supplies - but don't quote me on that!).

Oh my girls, I just saw this thread! SORRY! First, Glenda, you are too sweet to be so concerned about all of us!

Ok, I think I'm the Jill on this thread, not Jilly?!

I did ask Glenda about 50-70...here's my issue. My wedding isn't until November, so I really don't have a good idea of how many I'll need.

So if someone isn't in a big hurry, I can postpone my order until then. But I'm not really comfortable with ordering 50 now...what if only 30 guests show up?!?! wink.gif

So, I'm at a loss...anyone need to wait until about September for an order? With me having 50 or so at least, that's 1/2 of the minimum order right there...I need some guidance!

Oh, well shipping will be pricey for me either way. Shipping to Canada seems to cost a lot! So whatever the vote is, it won't make a difference to me. If they shipped to you, you would send it so we paid apon reciept though, right?

Wow! You have no idea? Are you doing OOT bags? I guestimated 3-5 over.. I figured not all the girls are going to want/get one because we're putting them out at the reception, not in the bags.. I thought they might be forgotten in their rooms if I put into their bags. They may have brought something with, etc. I figured if I'm under it isn't a big deal and if I'm over I'll just bring less to Mexico and wear lots of Aqua in '08 so I can use them.. lol

I like to get things checked off my lists asap so while I'm not dying to get them, I don't want to have to worry about these for the next few months. When do you think you'll know?

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
