Hey Alison,

When you started look at the website with various photographers, How did you determine which one. Did you choose someone from your state or a photographer who does DW? Try to find someone who is good and very very very affordable. Just some ideas on how I can do my search on that site. Thanks

Hey Ms. Tiff :)

I looked at the drop down for Destination weddings (Caribbean) and started looking at the lower end price range folks. I contacted a few and offered to pay for room/board if they pay for airfare. These guys are expensive but the pictures last forever (unlike most parts of the wedding) and their samples are great. Another way that we cut cost is by asking for only one wedding album- this way we get the disc of photos, and I can at a later time go to either kodak or a special wedding album site and put an album together at a lesser cost.

I hope that helps? Crazy how much money everything costs eh? We set ourselves an overall limit and are working within that and I have tried to forget that this could pay the mortgage, how many times??

Thanks Alison, I appreciate the input. I sent our a few emails, so we will see. Yeah my FI set a buget, but I increase it by 5, lol lol. Either way have still cut the price in half by doing a DW.

Hey does anyone know sites that have DW attire for men. lol lol If I leave it up to the FI the groomsmen will come with all different attire. I know for a Nov 2010 bride I am doing so much very earlier, but I hate waiting to do anything at the last minute.

I found on here someone linking this custom suit site for linen suits for 99$... I think we are going to go that route for the groomsmen and my FI will go to Brooks Brothers or something (he is not so enthusiastic as I)

Studiosuits.com, Custom Suits | Designer Suits

there is a forum on grooms clothing for more info

My daughter is getting married at Beaches Negril May 2010. The whole flower "thing" is driving us both crazy. It seems everyone has a different answer. My daughter spoke to Amber on Thurs. and she said we have until Nov 30th to pick flowers other than PB or Martha Stewart.( she email us pictures of choices). After that it is supposedly all Martha Stewart. She said in December there will be more choices from Martha Stewart besides the 4 packages. I hope that means individual bouquets to choose from but who knows. I hope you Feb brides will tell us how this all comes about and if you were pleased. My congradulations to everybody!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
