I have been working so hard lately, one of my part time gals has her kids home sick and I have been doing her shifts on top of my own. She told me this morning she maybe able to get them back in school by monday or tuesday, it has been two weeks already. I told FI I am relaxing this weekend "totally".

Ok amazing what we share with each other!!! I have to tell you this because I am shaking my head. I separated 7 years ago and the kid and the dog came to live with me. During our separation and agreement it was agreed that our son and the dog go to the Ex's every second weekend. Well the son is now 20 and doesn't do the weekend visits anymore. OK sitting down for this? My Ex still holds me to this agreement and I have to give him the dog every second weekend by 6pm Friday evening. So here is the Ex outside waiting in his jeep for baby Babe to come running out and hop in with her little sweater on. My neighbour just called I guess she was in the driveway when he came by to pick her up. She thinks we're totaly mental!!!! Laughing yethuh.gif

He is a total freak about his dog visitation rights!!! Sadly!!! we tell Babe (the dog) her dad is coming to get her and runs and grabs her doll and waits at the door for him to come. It is really "NUTS". I think it is him still trying to keep contact with me. The dog is my son's and he gets really pissed when his dad calls and demands that she be bought over or he is coming to get her. I just don't say anything and ignore him.

SusieQ your dog story is hilarious! My fiance and I are total dog people so I can just picture the dog anxiously waiting to be picked up. :) Stuck in a hotel room for work so a little entertainment is nice!

 

BTW...I'm Tricia and getting married at Moon Palace Feb 26, the day before FutureMsMoulton! We're all getting close!!

susieq,there is no thinking that your mad you are.i was a really good girl last night i limited myself to the 3 glasses of wine as i have been working out this week.

 

futuremsmoulton,well thats the last time i rely on you for help then if you dont even listen to what i say.or was it me i was flapping hehe.no prob thanks again.how weird is it though that after that you looked at riu as well.

 

tricia,welcome to the crazy lady thread.are you as excited/emotional as us?what you got done so far are you having fun planning?thats good you 2 will be at the resort at the same time.you will have to stalk her wedding lol.

 

well i lost 2lb in weight this week.i have got to have dress alterations done next saturday hehe.and i am on double digits tomorrow.bring it on

Speaking of weight loss, who is dieting and any bright ideas about how to stay motivated? I realized yesterday that we have 3 months (today less!) until the wedding and I would really like to lose 15lbs and I am good for a few days and then fall off of the wagon again... my FI doesnt seem concerned but I REALLY want to look my best wearing that pretty dress etc... not to mention laying out on the beach!

 

Any suggestions? I have seen that some of the girls on here have lost stacks of lbs!!

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010.       Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations.
