Last week when I got back from buying my shoes.... I was saying to my friends, well, I've got my dress, my ring, my shoes, my passport... I said- ''well, I'm getting married... don't know about the FI!'' LOL I keep joking at this rate we'll have to Skype him in to his own wedding.

Hi February 2010 Brides... Congrats on getting married!

 

We are getting married Feb 6, 2010... I am officially obsessed. I eat drink and sleep wedding and I had no idea thats how it would be... and enjoying the hell out of it too I must say. I love to plan, vacation and spend money!

 

We have 60 guests confirmed (50 adults, 10 kids) at Beaches Negril. Both of our families and a bunch of friends are coming. My dress arrives for alterations on December 28th. No shoes yet. The bridesmaids have all ordered their dresses. My FI and I each have 4 nieces and nephews and they are going to walk down the aisle in front of me. We have ordered their dresses and shirts from Hawaii. My FI needs clothing (how long of a turn around time on his clothing??- not sure if I should be worried about that)

 

I am working on the guest bags now. I got canvas bags from Promotional tote bags custom sizes and styles from cheap totes now with t-shirts and screen printing for a dollar a piece! Refurbished cameras for like 2.50 a piece. Sunscreen for a buck a piece. Emergen-C for hangovers. Engraved fans from off of theknot.com for cheap. I am going to ask the best man and matron of honor to keep a first aid kit for emergencies.

 

Wanting to finalize the reception arrangements but the WC is not being very cooperative.

 

So what are you guys doing for bachelorette parties? Are you having one at home or at the resort?

 

Are your reception details finalized? Are all of your guests booked?

First welcome to the February group, it sounds like you have things in full swing for your wedding. Don't wait too long FI clothing, you may have to do returns if something doesn't fit.

we are experiecing the same with no response from our WC, I also know that there is huge issues at our resort with staff changes and photographer problems. I am giving it another week and then I am going to speak up... When I get to the point that I have to speak up, let's just say, it won't be pretty.

My FI still hasn't had his clothes made, I'm not sure what he is waiting for!!! I had some sarongs made at the tailors last week and he barely looked at the Linen material for his suit! Hmmm... how do I get him motivated!?!? Oh dear!

I love this FEBRUARY BRIDES group... I say once our weddings are completely done, we should somehow meet somewhere in the middle. Wouldn't that be fun!?!?!

You're too funny, I don't have a map infront of me, China, USA, Canada and UK I am trying to think what would be somewhere in the middle. lmao....

I do go to Michican every year for ball with my son, we have a tournment in Frankenmuth.... I love Birch Run!!!!!!!
