Hello,

Has anyone used Destinationweddings.com before? I am starting to plan a destination wedding for June 2011 (probably Mexico) and feel overwhelmed with all the choices out there. The site seems very reputable but I am hoping to find some recommendations from this forum.

I am using DestinationWeddings.com and they have been great! My TA is Joani Traver - you can specifically request her. She is very responsive and my guests have been very pleased with her. She also got us some of the best rates out there.

Yes, I am using them as well. Things have been very smooth for me! My TA emails me all the time giving me updates and is very helpful.

I know some brides have used this company and haven't had good luck. I think it all depends on what TA you get.

I am using DestinationWeddings.com, and my TA is very good. She is very responsive to me and my guest needs. She got the best group rates, cause believe me, I did my own research to ensure we were getting good rates.

I too believe it all depends on your TA.

I used them for a few weeks and thought they were horrible. I was assigned to a woman who took forever to get back to me and then made a million excuses, blaming resorts. She kept trying to sell me the company's save the dates, website, etc - which I thought were tacky and looked like something that a child designed. I finally fired her and went to the same resorts directly - and got much better service and felt much more in control of the situation.

I used them as well as a good friend of mine and we both had a great experience with them. We used the same specialist and she was great!

I love our TA from destinationweddings.com... she is easy to reach, responds within 24hrs, and has been VERY helpful with our resort. I have a lot of trouble getting contact with the WC, and she has gone up the chain over and over on our behalf.

Also as far as pricing, I couldnt find it cheaper myself, and it is totally worth having someone in your corner when your resort (as well reputable as they are supposed to be) jerk you around.
