di! great to hear from you! i'm so glad everything with your house is going well... once you're all settled in and the wedding is over you won't know what to do with yourself!!

she isn't driving me crazy with the stickers at all... i think it's hilarious! the best part was when we first got them, she had to go to her mom's and she asked if she could take them with her. i sooooo wanted to let her just because her mom would crap her pants (pun intended) if she saw those!

have you posted a picture of your dress? you know we would LOVE to see!

I need your guys help now. I finally bought my travel mugs for the oot bags!! yaahhh.

I kept looking at the ones from 'discount mugs' and figured they were the same one from dollarama. So I just went there and got 20 for $1.25 ea.

Now I'm wondering, can I personalize them now? I found this link someone posted, but it's liquid, I'm so confused.. does anyone know how it works. If so any help would be so appreciated. Custom Waterproof Clear Stickers by pixelbypixel on Etsy

tracy those mugs look great! and what a price!! i believe in order to personalize them you'll probably need to use a sticker similar to the link you gave to etsy. i've read that a lot of people have had problems with other personalization peeling off in the heat and humidity so if you get something waterproof i think that would be your best bet!

Tracy check out this thread, she explains everything! You may have to order the waterproof labels online, I haven't checked if you can get them at staples or not, then she just sprayed them with clearcoat to protect from the ink running...
I like your mugs btw!

Leslie- I was worried about my family flipping out knowing that they'd have to pay for their flight and hotel to see me get married, but you know what, if they really care, they will come. Like you, I also have family from all over the US so i figured one central location will work since they will be travelling anyway. I would send out an email ASAP to let your guests know about your intentions of a destination wedding as well so they can figure out their plans from there on top of saving money to go.

Di- Welcome back! Glad the house situation went well! It really takes up your time doesn't it? I'm 5 months into my place and I still have a lot of unpacking and decorating... we're doing room by room. What other wedding stuff do you have to do?

Hi ladies... just popped in to say I got my invitations today! I've been on pins and needles all week because I knew they were coming and they finally got here! I'm working late today so FI brought the box in to me so that I could see them, and they look perfect. I can't wait to go home and assemble them tonight. I'll see if I can (finally) figure out how to post pictures and get a pic of them up, too.

Have a great night everyone!

Hi everyone - just wanted to say hello - my first week of work has been absolutely crazy - I've been commuting about 2 hours in the morning and an hour and a half going back so by the time I get home I'm shot.

I hope everyone is having a great week!

Michele

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
