Lisa (aka Coug!!) I'm just so glad that I could be a small part in something so great! You are absolutely right - when you are at your absolute lowest, or experiencing your highest of highs, you know that your desties will be there for you!!! I too feel truly blessed to be a part of such an amazing family! And yes - the get-together will be an absolute shit-show!!! shots.gif

yay for our desties! i saw the kindness of my fellow desties after erika's accident, and now have witnessed it on a more personal level ... i do truly feel blessed for knowing you all. love.gif

i know, carly ... over $500 toward the cause, from people i would have never known if not for this forum. i was fully blown away every time another BDW name popped up on the donor list. cry.gif

dad is doing well so far with radiation and chemo. i don't expect any money i raise to be able to help him directly, but if in the future it helps prevent a diagnosis of GBM from being dismissed as a hopeless case (a death sentence), then we've all done an amazing thing here.

i've just had to increase both my personal and my team's fundraising goals! in just a few days we've already raised over $1,600 toward the cause ... much of that success is due to my "forum family."

 

i can't say it enough ... you guys are the best! smile03.gif

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!

      Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else.
