Short body, long legs....sigh, why can't I have both? I guess I'm borderline plus too, I can wear anything from size 8 to 12, it's so crazy!
Oohhh..I'm short-waisted and like you it's soo hard finding clothes that make you look lonnnnngggg... ha ha..even jeans I have the hardest time finding something that fits right cause my torso is non existent. I lost weight hoping it would help but it doesn't.. ha ha..I still look like I have a chest then straight to hips no in-between.

I have the opposite problem.... Long body and the legs stopped growing at six years old. I can not sit in a compact car,my heads hits the roof and my feet barely touch the floor. Oh well we're not cookie cutter chicks

I hate looking for jeans! The butt, and thighs fit perfectly, but I can never do up the button without making it look like I have two stomachs! Why does the button have to dig in so far? I never do up the top button. The zipper zips up fine, so I try to hide the fly away tips with a belt.

Okay ladies,

I leave next saturday for Cuba and I have a minor problem.

I need to find a bra or something supportive for the "girls" but I can't find either a) anything that fits and B) a bra where the band does not poke out of the back of the dress.

I found 1 bra that might have worked but they didn't have my size in the store and would have to order it in, and there was no guarantee it would arrive before I left. Also, there was no guarantee that it would even work.

So, I need something that I can get now that will keep the "girls" up and won't show under the dress. My MOH suggested duct tape, lol, but I'm not liking that idea.

Any suggestions?

Don't know if this helps. I found a bra at Lane Bryant. This bra actually had a comfortable strip of boning about an inch from the side of the cup (like under the arm pit).

I LOVE this bra and ended up buying 3 of them. The white one, I got a seamstress to cut off the straps & top of the cup so that I could use it as a strapless. It's perfect!

That's my suggestion cause I can't think of anything else lol

awww hug2.gif I feel for you! That sounds all too familiar to me! With the jeans, what I do is buy the low rise so that I'm not losing what little waist-length I have to pants that sit too high up. I find it seems to help but the problem with the low rise jeans is that my pooch hangs over the edge of it so sometimes it might look like I'm preggers haha. I don't know what to do, where a corset 24/7 under all my clothes I guess? rofl.gif

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
