Isy beau

I can't believe I found the sandals the way I did.....I thought it would be quite a chore especially now that all the winter stuff is out!! They were meant to be mine.....lol Is it bad that my FI saw them. I left them out on my bed, so he had to see them. He wanted me to wear them!!! Crazy dude!!

Gooner

Your best bet is to contact Carolina, she is the wedding coordinator at the resort and probably will answer any question you will have. She sometimes takes awhile to answer back, send the info off to her, and if she doesn't answer right away, give her a couple of days and send your e-mail off again.....good luck!!!

Or, you can get married at Home with your priest and then go to DR and do a symbloic wedding (cheaper)

I am having a legal catholic ceremony in the gazebo in November, so it is possible. There is quite a bit of paperwork involved. You need to send it to the priest in the dominican 2 months before your wedding for approval.

Hi Adobrzanski,

Thanks for the info. This was a confusing point for me as I do NOT plan on getting married in my home country (Canada) prior going to the Dominican, based on your message I assume you are doing the same?

When you are talking about a catholic ceremony in the gazebo, would this be the new Gazebo just built? Also what are the extra charges for a Catholic wedding as I know its more expensive.

Thank You

-Chris

I do have my shoes, but there real shoes, cause I love shoes!!! :) And I planned on going barefoot for the ceremony, but I guess thats changed since I really like the gazebo so now I think I look for a little pair of flip flops or something....hmmmm...I'm not sure what I'll wear?

I'll have to really start checking out shoe shops!!! yay!! I think I can handle that wink.gif

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
