Hi All,

 

My wedding is 7 months away and no one from my FI family has booked. Some people are staying they dont have the money but they have took maybe 5 trips this year (FI mother). I'm like come on now its only 774.00 for 3nights. Should I be upset Would you be??

No, it is still 7 months away. It's less than 8 months for us and nobody has booked. People will procrastinate and book maybe a month before your wedding! I hope this won't happen! :)

And they won't all be booked by then... be prepared for that:) Hopefully you'll have a good IDEA who's coming, but there will be stragglers. Again, part of a DW.

(We asked people to book by Nov. 1 and people were still booking mid december... our wedding was Jan 23)

You'll be fine:) I am just telling you this so you don't get worked up about it. Chose your battles... and try not to worry. I promise it will be PERFECT in the end. And the people that are supposed to be there, will... even if it is a different group than expected. I can tell you this from personal experience and from reading other girls' stories around the forum, you are def. not alone. And that is why the forum is so important! So you can vent.

Do you have your dress picked out? How is the rest of your planning going? I'd focus on that!

Hi LeNell - I totally feel your pain - my wedding is in 6 months and nobody has booked. I've sent STDs, email reminders and my invitations went out last week. My rates even dropped to $379 for 4 nights (and I sent out an extra email for that) and still nobody. I guess people book when they're good and ready : (

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!

      Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else.
