We require a minimum of 40 people. You are allowed to bring your own music CDâ€s. We are having it from 6 -10. Maybe they changed things im not sure but thats what we booked.
So you have to pay $85 USD per person for 40 people minimum + $2000 for the package? - or do they give you a package deal because of the separate beach party...also they have conveniently taken the DJ services out of the beach party pricing...which sucks - but you should still get it because it was the option at the time you booked - so fight for it if you have to! They've also added a Thai beach club party which starts at $100 USD per person...
I still haven't decided...
Congrats by the way, your day is coming very soon!!! You must be sooooo excited - are you all ready?
:o) I can't wait to hear your review! maybe you'll sway me the way for a beach party!!

I have been to the G.R.P. Very nice resort. We stayed in the Platium suites. My only disappointment is the "private" pool you get has a limited number of chairs / beds and you had to be down there with your towel / book and "mark your territory" by 7:30 am!!! But you can definitley hang out by the pool too.

Stay away from the Seafood Resturant.... I was SOOOOO disappointed. sad.gif Mama Miahuh.gif (Italian) was Great and the Japanese place was Great. The buffets were not bad. Lots of varitey.

The pool closest to the beach wasn't that busy and Serigo makes a MEAN Carribean Reef!!! Oh My God... It knocked Tracey and I out a couple of times for our mid afternoon nap by the pool.... but they are so AMAZING!!!!

We went during Christmas last year so it was pretty busy too.

It's #4 on our list of places to get married.

Keith

Thank-you for the info on the Royalty package. I inquired about that and I was told that this is the 2010 package. It is unfortunate because it is the same price as the Princess package but has only half the stuff. Has anyone been able get the Royalty package for a 2009 wedding?

I was just sent a new registration form so that they could draw up my contract. I slipped the Royalty package in as the package chosen on the form. I got a reply that they received my form and everything was fine, and they didn't mention anything about the package. I will have to keep you posted on what they say! I should be receiving my contract soon.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
