Hi @@kmateo2015 congrats on your wedding! I am still in the planning stages and am interested in bavaro beach and was wondering how was your experience? I was especially curious about the reception because from what I gather they are semi-private in a restaurant?? was this your experience or were you able to have a private reception-and how much was that? Thank you for your help!!

I am getting ready to plan my Wedding May 2017 and wish I had some advice for a beach reception! I am a little concerned about the lighting and saw that there is a 20x20 tent, but is that for a beach reception? Is one necessary or what is the best lighting option for the beach. Also, does the casino still exist??? I never hear any mention of it so maybe it isn't as amazing as I hope...

Just wondering, how was the lighting for your wedding? i am also planning to do a beach reception.
