HI @@JJ785220, Welcome to the forum!! I agree with the other ladies about how to determine pricing. I Still don't know exactly how much the end cost for the wedding will be, but we started by selecting a packaged from the wedding list ( found on Barcelos website). We made our package decision based on how much additional the per person price would be ( its different for each package). We are going with the Mint Breeze Package with starts at $2600 and is additional $30 per person after 20 people. I am currently in the process of choosing the cake and menu for the reception. After this, I will began choosing, Décor, DJ, Photographer etc. and this is probably where the other costs will start to add up outside of the chosen package. I'M glad you are doing your research! I haven't yet come across ant frustrating experiences but I'm sure glad you let us know about the receptions site issue. I will be prepared for that now. Hi YooYooo, So I finally received confirmation that you do NOT have to pay a day pass fee if your guests stay at any Barcelo Resort. It was misinfo from my travel agents tour guide company. But very good news thankfully!

@@yooyooo, I will let you know as soon as I hear back from her. Thank you @@TaraW for that information! I will confirm with Estrella as well. That would be very helpful to many of my guests her who prefer not to stay on the Palace side!

@@yooyooo, I thought it was insane too, especially since many other posts stated differently. I will double check with my WC ( I have been assigned Estrella!). The way it's worded does make it seem like you should be able to stay at any hotel within the resort.

Hi @@yooyooo, I booked my wedding at the Palace for May 2016 using the Mint Breeze Package also! many of the previous posts state that guests were able to stay at any Barccelo Hotel and attend a palace wedding, but upon my booking I was advised that any guest who doesnt stay at the Palace will have to pay a $100 day pass fee to attend. Maybe they wont be so strict with guests assisting you on your wedding day. Happy Planning!
