Thanks for the info! I would prefer to go with the resort DJ so I don't have to go through the hassle of bringing one in. Sorry I just have a couple more questions for you. Do you know what the $1,208 all includes at the resort?And is that for only 2hrs. I was quoted $1,290 from DJ mannia that includes the light up dancefloor, robotic lights and the DJ service for 4 hours. I would hate to have to pay an extra $610.00 for 2 more hours on top of the 1,208. It might be worth paying the extra fees to bring in an outside DJ. so confused.

Hey FutureMrsG, Awesome review! I just had a few questions about the Barcelo DJ. I am debating on getting DJ Mannia or the resort DJ? I really want the light up dancefloor but I don't think the resort offers that? What DJ package did you go with? And do you know the name of the DJ company Barcelo goes with so I can look at their website or pictures! Thanks

Hello and congrats! I am getting married at the barcelo palace too. Our date is January 22 2012. My TA is going to confirm and book that this week. getting excited! I'm new to this site, but I'm glad I found it cuz theres so much info on here. Are there any new policies or new rules for this year that I should be aware of because it seems like there making or changing policies all the time! another good site to check out is unofficial barcelo maya forum. It has a lot pictures so it comes in handy when your trying to pick out a reception or ceremony site or whatever you want! Happy planning!

Hello, I'm planning my wedding at the barcelo palace for January 22, 2012. My TA is going to confirm and book that date this week. getting excited! I find if you get your TA to email the WC they respond alot faster. I discovered this site about a month ago, and so happy I did cuz I know it will make planning alot easier!
