hey everyone! I've been MIA for quite some time. I've read up on all the helpful information. We have finally made our decision to have our wedding at the Royal PDC on June 4, 2011. We are going to being doing our site visit next weekend after thanksgiving for 5 days. Congrats to all the new brides and future brides. I was wondering what company did ya'll use for airport transfers? Did you do a private transfer or shared. Did any company offer ya'll discounts for the wedding group? thanks, Heidi p.s. hey everyone, I have a quick photography question. I know the resort uses Funever Photos. Does anyone know of another bride who used them. I was wondering how they came out. I am looking at other photographers and found two that I may be interested in. Are ya'll paying for a room for the photographers for one night or paying the outside vendor fee? I did contact Fernando to get prices for my wedding next june 2011. Here is what he wrote in the email: this is my price list for hair and make up ok trial hair and make up $180 day of the event $350 bridesmaids and family only make up $90 only hair $50 up to $80 Does anyone know the rates for the hotel for hair and makeup for bridesmaid and family? Have a question for everyone. Did ya'll reserve your date and location before you booked your room and package? For everyone that has been to the Royal, which location is better, the beachside at pelicanos or the gazebo. We have a choice between both right now. Or did ya'll make a site visit first before deciding on everything? Did ya'll talk to someone in reservations to get a group rate or went through a travel agent? Does anyone have elizabeth medina's email? I filled out the request on the website and haven't heard back from her? Has anyone seen the ballrooms? My fiancee does not want to be on the beach for the wedding reception. Do you have to purchase decorations through the resort or outside company to decorate the ballrooms. If anyone has done a site visit, do they give you any incentives back when you book your wedding? upgrades, etc? Hey Everyone, My name is Heidi. We just got engaged, so our tentative date is may 28, 2011. We are looking at places in the playa del carmen area. We have not decided where the wedding will take place yet, still doing our research. Does anyone have any suggestions or can share past experiences of weddings they have attended in playa del carmen. I am feeling a little overwhelmed, since I have never been to that area, and there are so many resorts. Thanks!
