  1. WOW! You look great! I wasnt sure if I want to get them done, now I do:)
  2. Congrats and welcome to the forum! We didnt have a particular date in mind but we knew it would be sometime in June. After that was decided, we looked into picking a resort. Since I have kinds coming to the wedding, adults-only was not an option. Then we looked at the decor of a resort and price and we found Riu Palace to be exactly what we had in mind. Another thing that we liked about Riu was the fact that Riu has less expensive sister resorts and our guests could pick depending on their budget.
  3. Hi and Congrats on your engagement!!! Photography was always on the top of our list, and considering how beautiful Mexico is, I didnt want to take any chances, so I'm flying someone from home. However, there are plenty of great photographers in Riviera Maya area from what I can tell just by browsing on this forum. Decide what's important to you. See what people say about the photographer from your hotel and take it from there.
  4. Both resorts sound great to me. We picked RPRM because they allow kids. I had no choice since I want my little niece to be the flower girl. If kids are no issie to you, go with the one you really like. Your guests will have a great time no matter what. You cant really loose with either one.
  5. Hey! They dont really contact you until 2month before the wedding. You can have a reception there in one of the restaurants. I'm planning to do that. You can have a DJ set up at the restaurant for dancing and stuff. It all depends on how many people you have though.
  6. My friend did it a few years ago. They bought alcohol in Wal-Mart in Cancun. We're plannng on buying it in Wal-Mart in Playa del Carmen.
  7. Hi, Does anyone know what flowers are in season in June, in RM? Thanks so much in advance
