Hello brides!

Does anyone know a place that sells bubble wands in small quantities and cheaper than 10 cents each wand?

My local Michael's sells 100 for $19.99 (link below). I always use the 50% off coupon so it comes out to be 10 cents for each wand, and I only need 25 = $2.5 but I would have to spend $10 to get it. YES, $8 is not much difference but I hate buying things in more quantities than I need and then hold onto them thinking I'll need them in the future..then probably end up throwing them away...

Thanks!

Have you tried a dollar store?

I know Dollarama has a wedding section that sells bubbles - they aren't wands, but for the price you'd pay you may be ok with it.  They are more little containers.

Even Dollar Tree I would check out.

Ebay or Amazon also have great deals.

I'm in the US and I don't think we have Dollarama. I've tried Dollar Tree and their bubble containers are very hideous. I'm looking through Ebay and Amazon, and I don't see much that are less than 10 cents per wand. I guess that price is pretty hard to beat!

I'm probably going to end up buying the 100 bubbles from Michaels... Any brides in the DMV (DC, MD, VA) area who wants to share? :D

If the price can't be beat then it may be easier to get them and try to sell them as you mentioned above :)

Even on sites like kijiji or craiglist!!!  Lots of wedding items for sale secondhand locally!

EDIT - not that you would want a secondhand bubble wand, but you got my point LOL!!!!

Craigslist is a GREAT idea! I completely forgot about that option. I'll probably wait until after the wedding and have a big sale and sell off everything.

Thanks!!

Your wedding pictures look gorgeous, by the way. I am totally getting the hot pink chair sashes like yours!

You could also look at Oriental Trading. They have a wedding section and their prices are reasonable since you're in the US. Also efavourmart.com and Exclusively Weddings might have something although I haven't looked there for that item.

What about Party City? They sell quantities of 12 I think, or maybe 24 and if I remember their prices were ok. Don't know if you'll get 10 cents each but likely not too far off.

Good luck!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
