Anyone Else Marrying At Kool Beach Club/ New Wedding Coordinator?

So when I booked my venue, it was in part because I loved the place and it's policies (still do), and because the onsite WC was amazing. It was like she was working only for me. I would email her maybe 1 or 2x a month and boom! She would respond like we were in constant communication!

 

I realize this sort of behavior is unique and hard to come by. I also knew there was no guarantee that she would be there when our big day came. And as life has a natural way of constant change, Adriana, left Kool Beach Club just 6 months shy of our wedding! I miss her! She set the bar high!

 

They have hired a new WC and to be polite, I will say she is the complete opposite of Adriana. In every way. Getting her to hold the things that we were promised, ( set up with decor, times for rehearsal, specifics of food tasting, etc.) is like pulling teeth.

 

If anyone has any information on the new WC Yuritzia Campillo or Kool Beach club please share on here.

 

Especially if you have recently married or are set to marry there.

Oh my gosh.  I've been trying to email Adriana for over 2 months now.  I was wondering if she left.  Noboy notified me.  I also sent a regular email this week to the general email address and I'm still waiting to hear back.  Adriana was great.  So quick and very accomodating.  That makes me so sad.

 

Do you have the email to the new WC?  I'm a bit scared now.

 

I'm so glad I looked on here.  Thanks for the heads up.

Hi! Yes. It's the same email address as it has always been. But this new WC is like rediculous. I just had a long talk with her manager, Elvira. Elvira is a sweetheart and is very understanding. I guess Adriana just up n left without giving wedding files to Elvira. I will PM you info

I'm not getting married at the same venue as you, but I did have the same situation happen to me.  Our WC who is amazing, or was, and I've read many brides speak of him very highly, just quit the resort.  He didn't notify us.  Nobody has notified us.  We only heard because our TA mentioned it to us. 

 

I'm trusting that his replacement is just as great but who knows.  It's really frustrating but I guess the entire world isn't going to stay on hold until my wedding day.  ah.

 

I hope your WC situation turns around. :)

Hi Ladies! This is my very first post on this website and today is my first attempt at getting serious about wedding planning! I hope you can help! I am interested in learning more about the Kool Beach Club venue, can anyone help with email address to reach the WC directly? or perhaps PM with your experience with Kool Beach Club? Any advice/reccs would be really appreciated since I am just starting!! thanks!!!

I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010.       Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners.
