3 Month Count Down?

Recommended Posts

Feeling kinda burnt out on wedding planning. Just ready to get on with it.

Because I feel that way I've sort of been feeling laissez-faire about detail.

Anything I should be doing these last 3 months?

Anything you wish you did towards the end?

Is it bad that I am 8 months out and I just want it to be here already? LOL

I kind of just feel like I am ready to be married already. Ready to be husband and wife. Ready to move on to the next stage of life. How did you ladies get through this and make it to the 3 month our mark without driving yourself insane? LOL

I totally know how you feel.  I'm 4 months out and so burnt out and really procrastinating on everything, even though I know I'm probably going to be kicking myself once I'm a few weeks out wondering why I wasted so much time. Some stuff that seemed like such cute and great ideas when I was so excited to start planning just seem frivolous and annoying at this point! I figure even if I do nothing else and show up in a white dress it'll at least kind of look like a wedding, right?

Girls - you nailed it. So I am not alone?

Do you think it would be a bad idea to just call it break for the next 2 months?

I, like most work more efficient under an impending deadline.

Maybe doing nothing is exactly what to do.

I even did that too early. Massage company said they had to wait exactly 3 month or less to booking date to schedule bc their software doesn't allow scheduling any sooner. Go figure! Ha

@rachelia160   I keep thinking the same thing!!  I wanted to order all this cute stuff I saw on Pinterest and Etsy and now I'm like I just don't want to do any of it anymore! I did some of it and now I'm just hoping it's enough to look nice  :)

61 more days!!!!  Not that I'm counting.

I'm just over 3 months away as well! We haven't gotten our rings or figured out our ceremony script yet - those are next on my list.

I have been so busy with work I haven't spent ANY time on the wedding in the last month outside of hounding people to book, which I guess is important. Being busy has made it easier to resist feeling like to need to do all these extra, creative touches. I've seen SOO many cute ideas, but my original plan was to keep it simple so I want to stick to that. But, on the flipside, I keep thinking how I'm keeping it simple so I have tons of time left! And that could backfire too :)

Oh yeah, next on my list too is to start dieting...gotta get on that...

I'm about 2 weeks from our wedding (we leave in 6 days!) and I feel the same way! I had sooooo many ideas when we first started planning the wedding but now I figure if I haven't done it or thought of something yet it's not important! I'm just going to finish up my last minute stuff and let the WC take it from there! lol

Looking back I really didn't do too much 3 months out...I just made use that all the guests were book and that we had the pastor, photographer etc booked

Good luck ladies!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
