My Wedding Dress Adventures

Recommended Posts

Hey Everyone! I went to my first appointment over the weekend, it was the Anna Campbell trunk show, and tried on two other dresses. I was so overwhelmed, felt pressured to voice my opinion about each dress (though I don't think it was the salesperson, just pressure I was putting on myself). I can be so indecisive at times and plus I am obsessed with dresses in general, so that doesn't help :(

What do y'all think?

They are all very unique! You look beautiful. If I had to choose I would pick picture number 6 but with the neckline of number 7 (sweat heart?) it suits you perfectly. Number 7 would be my second choice :)

Don't be scared to

Voice your opinion, you have to wear it. And sometimes voicing out loud what you want, how the dress does / doesn't fit what you envision, how you feel in it, etc. Helps you decide.

I actually got the first one I tried on...I ended up trying on at least 15 dresses that day between 2 places, but fell for the first.  I've gone a couple times looking for TTD and with my sister in law for her dress, and nothing compares for me :)

@@malyna I went out probably 6 or 7 times. I tried on what felt like a million dresses and although they were all nice (except a few I really hated lol!) I didn't really love any of them... except for the one I ended up buying. I literally put the dress on and didn't have it all the way up and I just knew it was THE ONE! I just felt so beautiful and sexy in it. It was exactly what I had been envisioning! It had a lot going on, but it was so me. It fit my personality so well and I just exuded confidence and excitement in it! I hate to be one of those people that say you'll just know, but you really will! Even if you try on hundreds of dresses you will eventually get that THIS IS IT feeling!

@@malyna....I am actually going to try on dresses again on Sunday. I am just not happy with

the dress and this is my second one. I hope the 3rd time is the charm. I think I rushed too soon and went with other's opinions and not what I actually envisioned.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
