Ok so I haven't printed my invitations yet but I just finished designing them and the luggage tag RSVP. I think I'm going to go to staples and print them on card stock since my printer sucks lol. Let me know what you think! It took way more effort than I thought! Who knew picking fonts could be so tiring?! post-278186-141107399629_thumb.jpgpost-278186-141107400416_thumb.jpg

@@helenk....I used staples to print out mine also and they were very reasonable.  My printer didn't print the colors accurately and looked horrible.  When Staples did a test print, I was very impressed.

I also did boarding pass invites - everyone loved them!

Great job!!!
One question - on the RSVP what is the 'm' before the ______________  (assuming it's the line for their name).

I am probably just having a blonde moment ...

Awesome job again!

Yea I printed this at home and the colors are really light so I hope when I go print them the colors pop more! Did staples test print it for free? Can you have them cut them for you also? I wonder how much extra that is

@@FutureMrsGlover & @@helenk Is it really easy to do? I'm sooooo not crafty:(

I'm not a crafty person either as this is my first DIY ever! Its def not a one day thing. I downloaded the template from aylee bits. The clip art I just googled and copy and pasted it but I had to resize and drag it into the template. The fonts are what took me the longest! I am weird about fonts and everything I was doing at first just looked bad to me. I ended up downloading the cursive font used for our names. It takes patience esp if you're not savvy with MS Word. It took maybe a few sessions of playing around to get it how I wanted. Since I plan to let staples print and cut them for me the work is pretty much done! Just have to arrange them in the sleeves I plan to buy can't wait to see the finished product!

Haha makes total sense!!

Fonts were the hardest for me too. Had to try a lot as some didn't space right, etc. I printed them at home and made my own ticket jackets. Was a lot of work, but thankfully fiancé was right into it.

How did you make your ticket jackets? I was going to buy some from a craft store or something, but I am obviously into saving money where I can....lol. I pretty much designed this myself with minimal input from the fiancee. He did help make the final decision on colors of the clip arts though. And he approves of the final design, lol. He's not into the wedding planning other than where I force it on him. If it were up to him we'd go to city hall and forget the destination wedding altogether. Men.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
