Las Vegas Honeymoon

Recommended Posts

Anyone staying in Vegas after the wedding for their honeymoon? We are having a DW in Mexico, but we want to have a 4-5 day honeymoon in Vegas right after, as our week in mexico with all the family and friends won't feel like a honeymoon.

Anyone have any tips for romantic ideas there? Hotel room recommendations? Any ideas at all?

Recommendations really depend on several things:

Budget

What you would like to do/see while in Las Vegas

What is your idea of romantic - in Las Vegas it can be ridiculously over-indulgent or tasteful 5* pampering.

There is something for everyone there as long as you know where you fit on the spectrum, you'll be fine. But it's not cheap so be prepared to spend some money.

Here are some ideas of things to do:

Dinner at the top of the Stratosphere (revolving restaurant)

Helicopter ride to Grand Canyon

Gondola ride on the Venetian canals

Cirque du Soleil shows - ZUMANITY is the sexiest but all are awesome.

Ride the High Roller - the world's highest ferris wheel

Lots of great food to enjoy

Have Fun!

Awesome, we are doing the exact same thing!

I haven't put much thought into Vegas yet, but the ideas above are great.

Have you ever been to Vegas? I have 5 times but my fiance never has.

I would say whatever hotel you do choose ask for a honeymoon upgrade - maybe you will get a strip view.

Enjoy!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
