El Dorado Royale (EDR) Brides - POST HERE!

I am using Valeria too. I will find out my onsite coordinator in one week!!!!!!!!! AHHHH! My wedding is so close and I am still unsure about my wedding hair flower, jewlery and if I have everything packed!

Also i was worried because my new generation ipod doesn't usually work with other systems so i went out and bought a portable player for $100. Saves me $150 in not renting the BOSE speakers they have there but still....

This is the most stressed I have been about the whole thing!

I have been SOOOO stressed! I really thought destinationweddings were suppose to be a lot easier... I really dont think so lately. Plus with people constantly complaining about how much airfare is, etc. is really annoying! I know once I get there everything is going to be great... dont know how I'm going to do these next 5 months or so :) Hoping flights go down as well haha

I'm getting married at EDR in January 2011 and want to follow tradition of not sharing a room with my groom the night before the wedding. EDR does not offer any grooms suite for the 1 night. What is everyone else doing? Does everyone just share and separate in the morning or does the groom bunk up with a friend?

Thanks!

Lauren - I thought the same thing about destination weddings supposedly being less stressful. I have never experienced a regular wedding but I can attest that my DW was not less stressful!! Haha! But I got through it and you will too!!

JenniB - We had our new generation IPOD touch and it hooked right up to the EDRs speaker system... I am so excited for you!! Just remember, enjoy every minute of it because it goes by SOOOOO fast!!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
