@@amyzig2 Here is kind of the look I,m going for. But instead of the long vase with flowers I plan on going with a long vase with seashells and a candle. Well, I think that's what I'm going for, I might change my mind... again! lol...

I am struggling with flowers. The bouquets seem very expensive but maybe that's a normal price for flowers??? I have heard ppl mention real feel flowers but I have never seen them in real life. Are they good? Cheaper? Could I also use as centerpieces without it looking too "cheap"?

Thanks all!

I brought my own flowers. I thought they were beautiful. Even my bouquets. Ig people knew they were real touch, no one mentioned it. They look classy. I left them with Katy. I also got my bouqets on etsy. I can forward info to you. post-278682-14411967862_thumb.jpgpost-278682-1441196807_thumb.jpgpost-278682-144119687859_thumb.jpg

Hello ladies! Ok, so we are doing our cocktail hour and reception at Plaza Zavas. Has anyone strung lights in the gazeebo? If so, how many strings of lights did you need? I want to use the larger bulb lights like the ones pictured here. But not sure how many I would need. Please Help!

I rented w Katy. I think we used 4 strands. I dont know how long they were. The resort knows exactly how to hang thempost-278682-144119698531_thumb.jpg

I am taking real touch flowers and they look great. I am planning to use them for centerpieces as well, as you suggested, and hopefully selling them off after.  They are very durable and travel well.  I am assuming you are not in BC. Canada but just in case you are or if you just want to look into them I used www.destinationornot.com  for my flowers in Langley, BC.

When i get some time I will try to upload some pics.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
