Oh, BTW I received an email from another gal having her wedding on our day! She's at the Gazebo too! I don't know what time, but I hope those WC's can turn around a site quickly with 3 brides all getting married at the Gazebo that day. I'm sure we all have different colors and ideas for our set up ya knowwoot.gif
Hey hey hey!!! Haven't talked to you in a while! We will for sure all have to meet and hang out down there! So crazy! I'm sure all that needs to be changed is the chair bows, so I doubt that's too much work! I can't wait!

My in laws have been there and he said that there is nothing to worry about regarding how people will keep busy. Remember they can always go to the bar together where it's paid for! Remember, they are in a tropical wonderland and they'll be happy no matter what!

For sure, we'll have to meet up! True about the chair bows, that and flowers I guess is all that would really need changed out. So I wonder if they give us a little extra time for pictures etc, If I remember right you are the 2:00 wedding and I'm the 4:00 so wonder when the 3rd gal is: earlier, later, or in betweenhuh.gif just wondering if they go every other hour to allow time for photos etc....I'm getting so excited with each plan and decision that falls into place!!! I can't hardly wait:)

I know! It seems like now that travel arrangements are laid down, STD's are sent, dress is bought, photog and DJ paid, and centerpieces and flowers decided on, I can relax!
So, you know another MO girl is the same day? That's crazy! We will for sure have to meet up! How awesome would it be to have some friendships formed that carry over once we get home! Now that's rare.

I know, it's such a relief. I've had over a year of planning as our original date was Oct. 17th 2009 and then in January 09 we changed the date for family travel reasons. I feel like I've been planning forever, but you know, I LOVE it. I could so do this for a job!!!!! Like you said, It feels good to have the travel arrangements paid, the STD sent, invites picked out, colors/flowers decided on, locations at the resort booked, dresses ordered and photog paid. And now that I know my sister is coming I can go ahead and order the BM dresses.
I'm not sure if the other gal is a MO girl or not, she PM'd me on the Unofficial Barcelo site and I wrote back, but she hasn't responded yet. But New friendships are always great and I can't wait to meet new people!!!

I am also doing the ipod route for the wedding reception. We are going with the Mint Breeze package (for now at least, I keep changing my mind!) and so that includes live music for the wedding ceremony.

Does anyone know if they charge any additional fees for the stereo equipment?

Also, any additional photog reccs? I looked at Elizabeth Medina, but sadly, she may be out of my price range.

When I was in Mexico, I saw the set up of the beach receptions at the Barcelo Maya Colonial and it is beautiful. I'm wondering at the Palace....
The Palace's beach set up is on coral beach. It's really nice, but its smaller. We are staying at the Palace but our reception in front of the beach at the Tropical bc we are having 50 people.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
