Hello everyone! I'm at the stage of planning where I need to pick my menu!  I know this question has been asked before, but can anyone give their opinions on the menu items! We went for the strawberry passion package, and I have NO idea what to choose!

Hi guys does anyone have any good suggestions for affordable save the dates and  invitations? We have booked our wedding for 08/16/2014 at 4pm. I woud like to send out our save the dates this August/ September about 1 year in advance. We have seen quotes for $750 for 100 invitations! That is just nuts!

 

Any suggestions or ideas. We are thinking of doing the boarding pass

I ordered my save the dates from Magnetstreet.com  They were save the date magnets, that had a pic of beach (from an aerial view) and our names were written in the sand.  All my guests thought it was really neat that it was a magnet!  I did the boarding pass for my official invitations

I bought ours at micheals on sale for $10 per box... Cost a total of $20 plus postage for 60 invites!! I definitely recommend micheals invites

My fiance and I are getting married at the Barcelo Maya Palace on July 23rd.  This is what we chose for the wedding menu:

 

SALADS - Tomato salad with goat cheese pesto dressing
SOUP -Lobster bisquet
MAIN DISH - Surf & Turf (beer tenderloin with lobster tail)
DESSERT - Sweet creme brulee caramelized apple fruit cocktail

 

From what I have read, the food is supposed to be really good and other brides have mentioned that their guests raved about the wedding meal.  I hope we made some good choices!
