Thanks! I am working with Katrina Colon- she's been very helpful with checking several dates/times for me. I ended up booking the free package because I won't be getting my flowers from MP and I figured it'd be less stressful to add extra things on than to lose out by not using certain parts of the larger packages. It seems like a few other brides had success doing that as well...

Dana, that's what we decided to do as well. We booked the free one and we'll add on extras. Mainly, this was because we wanted the bigger photo packages, and there aren't any substitutions with the packaged weddings! Congrats! This is so exciting!

This is your day to be a princess. Every princess needs a carriage. You'll see the beautiful pictures later of you arriving in the carriage and you will be so happy you did it!!

I was just browsing through some posts and I remembered I didn't share anything about transportation in my review.

Most of my guests used the shuttle service that is offered my the company that services the Moon Palace. It is $23/person (round trip). (Palace Resorts). No one had any problems finding the shuttle or with timing.

The resort has a special cab rate from the Moon Palace to the airport of $20 (up to 4 people). The catch is that the special rate only applies from the resort to the airport. The rate from the airport to the Moon Palace can range anywhere from $40-60. That is ridiculously expensive considering the trip from the airport to the resort is about 10 minutes.

You can also arrange for a private van through the groups coordinator. The van can seat up to 10 people and it will only cost $53 each way. If this is of interest, please contact Gabriel Silva Alvarez ( gsilva@palaceresorts.com ). He can make those arrangements for you.

Moon Palace Brides, I am working on confirming my date at Moon Palace presently and had a question or two. Has anyone had their ceremony in the actual chapel? I thought that would be great, except people may not get to see you that well coming in on the horse carriage, but the chapel looks really pretty. If anyone has an photos or comments, that would be great, before I lock everything in. I am also wondering if everyone does a reception after? The reason I ask is because we are trying to not spend much money, but I want everything to be nice, but if we are going to have to pay a bunch, we could just stay here and do it and be able to have everyone at the ceremony. With a destination wedding, our friends with new babies, won't be able to make it. We just figured dw is best for us since we don't have large families, my parents are not paying for a wedding, we love to travel and this way we can keep it smaller (50 people?) and not spend $20k - $100k!!! We have a ton of weddings and bachelorette/bachelor parties this year, so that's already costing us a fortune and I recently went back to school to finish my Masters.

Also, how much is it for the stereo equipment for us to play our own ipods? I haven't seen that listed on any of the paperwork. Does everyone like the photographers there that you have to use? I am only interested in a video of the ceremony on dvd and a cd of all of our photos, I don't need anything printed out at all. Do you have to purchase a package to get the cd? I would want them to take photos at the ceremony, as well as the reception (if we have one) and just get a cd so I can decide what we want to do with the pictures. Just wondering if anyone knows if that's possible?

Sorry so long, thank you for your help!!

                      Happy Holidays everyone!
