Has anyone heard from Claudia. I e-mailed her my deposit on December 25 and now it is January 9 and I dont know if she received it. I want to send my invitaitons out, but don't feel comfortable doing it till my deposit is received. My wedding isn't till January 2010, but I am ready to get moving. Very frusterating!!!!!!

I emailed Claudia Monday..and she replied..THE SAME DAY!!

 

It was about DJ Mannia and a few more questions but she did respond the same day. maybe i just got lucky because usually she responds in about 7014 days, BUT i know how u feel about getting a conf!

 

I bought a calling card and now i call her if its an emergency. I call the hotel directly and ask for her.

As 90% of my guests are dropping out anyone know if I can change my whole package even if i've paid 50% deposit and not lose it.

I am sure you can.. they will just put the deposit toward whatever you end up getting. I changed almost everything once I got there. All the money I paid just went toward the final bill. Hang in there! And don't forget to look for me in my pink dress BAHAHAHAHAHAHA

aaaah!!! im leaving in 6 days and still havent heard back from claudia!! :-( i thought shes supposed to get back to you quickly when its right before your wedding.. sooo frustrating..

 

do you guys know whats the best form of payment for all the wedding bills there? check? check card? travelors checks?

This is totally OT..But do you still have the e-mail to your Koozie guy? I originally saved his ebay site, but it's no longer there :-( is prices were great!!
I did find this place:

we paid with travelers checks, only because our bank card has a daily limit, so I didn't want to rely on that. But beware if you are paying with travelers checks and you use your debit card as your credit card on file with the resort, they tried to put a hold on the total amount due for our wedding when we arrived (which wouldn't work because of the limit, so I was able to stop them) I let them know I would be paying for the wedding with travelers checks and that I didn't want them to put a hold on a lot of money in my bank account because then we couldn't use any of our money.
