I had one table with 8 and 3 tables with 6.  All the tables looked great and at the 8 it looked like they had plenty of room :)

I actually gave my OOT bags out! I have a couple to give on Thanksgiving. I wanted to give them out so it was one less thing I have to travel with...and people can pick and choose what they want to bring with them!!

So I've been kind of hurt about it for the past 4 months, and now last night she calls and says "Ok I'm booked I'm going!!" And I say Ok great...thinking in my mind, ok now I need to get one more OOT bag together, I have to get a hold of the WC to add her and get her a day pass to spend the whole day there....ughh I'm glad she's going but I guess it will all work!

We leave November 29th!! 2 weeks from tomorrow!! I just picked up my hair extensions today!! lol

are you putting your OOT bags together before you leave, or when you get there at the resort?

mrsg2b - LOVE the dress!!!  If you can do it, then do it!

Welcome back and CONGRATS Jes!!  I need to go find your review and planning thread asap! haha Well assuming they're already up!

Sorry, to everyone that is dealing with friends and family not coming or backing out...I would be devasted if my parents could not make it.

A little bit of my own "situation" -

My mom has been worried since they day I told her we are going to do a DW in Mexico.  She finds a lot of different reasons to question why we are having it there.  BUT then she got really excited (and I guess felt like it was actually real) when she received the STD in the mail and checked out our website.  She does not do a whole lot of traveling and until recently never flew except maybe every five or so years!  I don't think she's ever been out of the country either!  Things are looking up - her good friend told her today that she and her husband are coming to the wedding.  They do a lot of traveling and have been to Mexico before, so I think that made her feel a lot better.  :)  YAY!!  So, now I just need to push my mom and dad to start working on their passports!  Oh joy!

Anyways...I don't know what all I'm going to get my bridesmaids yet.  So far I have only ordered beach towels that have their names monogrammed on them.  They have a little pocket on the side to put sunglasses, chapstick, etc. in and they fold into a bag that can easily be carried.  I found them on Etsy and they are super cute!  I would really like to buy their BM dresses for them, but first I need to find them!  haha

<---- These new ones crack me up!!!

I ordered one of these towels for myself. I had Mrs. Murray put on the first line and Est. 12/11/2010 on the second.

Welcome back Jess, Natalie and Randi!  So glad to hear that everyone had fantastic times and that everything turned out well.  I look forward to reading your reviews and seeing pics!

My biggest hurdle so far has been w/my bridal salon.  Upon ordering my dress, they were so fantastic....great customer service, friendly, answered questions, etc.  Last night, I FINALLY got my dress (I leave in 15 days).  The salon promised the dress two weeks ago.  IT IS THE WRONG COLOR.  It is white and I mean white.  I ordered ivory.  The second the seamstress pulled it out of the bag, I said it's the wrong color.  They tried to tell me that I ordered white.  Um, no.  All along, I wanted ivory.  My shoes are ivory, my veil is ivory, etc.  They are contacting Maggie Sottero today to see if they can ship out a new dress today.  Cross your fingers!  If this is the worst thing that happens, I can deal with a white dress.

Also, my mom's dress still hasn't come in from them and they keep saying it will be here in time.  They also promised her dress 2 weeks ago.  How long does it take?  UGH!

Ok, enough venting.  Things could be much worse....I keep trying to keep things into perspective.
