Does anyone know what is meant by the dress code "long pants"? That is how the restaurant dress code for men is written on the Royal website. Does this include jeans? I'm not talking the tattered and torn kind, but just regular jeans. I know my FI would be very pleased if he didn't have to wear dress pants every night to go eat. Thanks!

I'm curious if anyone knows the answer to this because I've asked my Michigan WC and to no avail haven't received an answer.

What all is included in the 5 piece 'lounge furniture' that the resort provides? I have the 09-10 prices and on my wedding checklist it says for $250 I get 5 pieces. Has any past brides rented those pieces from the Royal or have any future brides asked that question and got an answer?

Thanks in advance ladies!!!

Hi,

This is an image of the included 5 pieces

Another past Royal bride used Mayan Hospitality I can't remember who it was but I saved the picture she posted. She said the one that the resort provides is not that decorative. So I guess it depends on what you are looking for.

I was emailing with Mayan Hospitality and I believe they quoted me $1,200, but when I added the $350 vendor fee I told them that right now my budget didn't allow for it and I would get back to them closer to the date. Since then they email me every couple of weeks telling me that they are trying to get a meeting with the Royal to see if they can negotiate a lower vendor fee and would let me know once it happens.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
