We are already over 35 people for our package and my FI's aunt along with her husband invited her sister/brother since they live in Cozumel. That means $400 for four of them. I wish I can tell her no her siblings can't go because we don't know them but I don't want to be rude! I told FI to put kibosh on anyone else inviting other people. His sister's boss wanted to go. I nicely said Hell No!

Just keep in mind that extra costs can add up after you exceed the maximum guests, especially if they're non resort guests.
LadyDi- I know what you mean!! I was expecting 10 at our wedding and the FI keeps inviting more people who we didn't send invites to. OMG!! We are up to 50 and my budget is already surpassed, not to mention the resort is almost full and people are staying outside the resort and its not like you can tell guests to pay for themselves! What's a girl to do

Ladies we just called the resort today and they said that our week is all booked up. The hotel isn't taking anymore reservations. May 15 is the wedding date.

Hi I'm sorry the hear that how about the Gran Porto? At least if your guests stay there they can buy day passes for the royal and you don't have to pay non resort guest fees. And if anyone stays in the highest level room at the porto they have unlimited access at the royal.

Oh man, how many of your guests are without rooms? Did you at least get one? (is that a silly question)

Like Jess said, def try Gran Porto or maybe one of the neighboring resorts- not ideal, but not a deal breaker either. Don't worry, it will work itself out :-)

Yeah, I heard that is a big issue. My TA just emailed me and said we need to get the word out that our weekend is about to sell out! And we arent until June 27!

                  Hey Lady Di,

Do you know how we go about that? We are thinking about bringing in all of our centerpiece items (mostly glass and candles with cobalt blue glassware.) Im wondering if we just set up a table how we would like it done in our meeting or something like that?

FYI, I found a HUGE assortment of travel hand steamers when I was looking a few weeks ago on amazon.com
