Found the section of the contract :-

 

Photo Package50 full color photos + wedding album (only ceremony)

 

Video package30 Minutes DVD, (only ceremony)

 

I'll let you know what happens.

 

What I do find funny though is I email her the menu option and then reply to her contract email mins later lol

 

I get a reply about the menus no reply about the contract lmao

Well if you think about it.... if you upgrade the package to the best photo package its like 2100ish which is about what an outside photographer would charge... I guess it just depends on the photographer you are most comfy with.

Thats a good way of looking at it Kathy, never thought of it like that. Guess it just defeats the purpose of the package thing IMHO.

Yeah, it totally does... but for our well being and stress levels think of it in a positive note lol. That is the way I get through everything. Have you guys ever seen Pollyanna? We have to play the glad game.

I just checked my contract and there is no mention about "ceremony only" I am all ready PO'ed about the fact they are ADDING onto my package rather than just upgrading and allowing us to pay the difference. I am re-thinking booking everything for the wedding with the hotel, I am not going to allow myself to get screwed.

What about right now Daniella emailed me back the following :

 

Good morning Joanna,

 

 

 

From now on we have some hotel policies and external suppliers are not allowed for Convention Groups and Weddings.

 

* I mean really are you serious... they are charging almost double what it costs outside the hotel I am really PO'ed too.. Its like you cant win.. You have all this money going into the hotel with your wedding, your guests and now they can't even let you bring in your own people. GRRRRRR Im angry!!

I just checked my contract and mines doesnt say anything about cermony only either.. Are we better off not asking or just leaving it alone??

I'd leave it alone! lol I'm still waiting for a response but it's not something I'm about to let go and if that means I move hotels thats what I'll do I won't be held to ransom!
