My husband and I will never forget the magical sunrise experience that we received from Katya. She went above and beyond to give us the most amazing time together in paradise.  We will cherish the photographs and memories captured by her forever. She made us feel so comfortable from the second we meet her!

We are from upstate NY were the weather is hit or miss so we decided to have a beach destination wedding to give not only us but our family and friends an amazing time in paradise soaking up the sun with us.  One of my guest  (my bridesmaid’s brother) is a photographer so we decided to have him take our pictures for our wedding day since he was attending the wedding anyways.   The risk we took was that he was used to the weather in NY not Punta Cana and he had never photographed a beach wedding before. He did our engagement pictures which came out decent so we trusted him. We did not think of the humidity, wind and all the other factors that are present at an outdoor beach wedding. To make a long story short, our wedding day pictures are very blurry and distorted. The best advice I can give future destination brides is: do the research and read the reviews to find the best photographer to capture your special day.

We are so incredibly thankful for the sun rise photo session that we were so fortunate to receive from the amazingly talented Katya the day before our wedding. We will never forget that day and the experience she gave us!

 It was a week before we departed for Punta Cana when I found Katya Nova Photography on facebook while browsing Palace Resort/Hard Rock Brides - Past and Future page.  She had posted that she was in Punta Cana Dominican Republic and had an opening for a boudoir or couple photo session at a private beach front villa called The Palms Punta Cana. I messaged her immediately with interest and within a day she messaged me back saying she would love to gift us with this magical morning sunrise photo session. She continued to stay in touch with me throughout the week to inform us of details as we had never done something like this.   She assured us that leaving the resort to go to the private villa was safe as I was a little nervous at first.  As soon as we arrive at the Palms villa we were in awe. Katya supplied us with a fresh pineapple, some music, wine, and champagne throughout our time while taking photos.  She took her time and made sure she captured every angle, feature, and scenery around.

As soon as we got back from our wedding in Punta Cana, I had sent Katy and email to thank her for the wonderful experience she gave my husband and I.  Within and few days she had our gallery of pictures ready to view.  She told our story of how we meet and fell in love throughout the gallery of photos. We cannot stop viewing each and every one of them.  They are so clear and beautiful.  All of the features in the pictures are flawless!

 If it wasn’t for her talent and skill we would not have many picture to show from our wedding. I wish we would have done the research about a destination wedding photographers and found here sooner than we did!

My husband and I are planning on contacting her the next time we go back to paradise for our anniversary.
