In a word, Del Sol was amazing. I booked with them about 8 months prior to my January 2013 wedding, after doing EXTENSIVE research online. While Del Sol was not the least expensive option I found, thinking about the memories that only photography would provide from my wedding day for years to come, I decided it was well worth the investment to get something I felt I would be thrilled with, and am SO happy I did (besides, when you spend so much on the dress, hair, makeup, decor, etc., isn't it the most important that you can document it all beautifully after the day is over?). They say you get what you pay for - but with Del Sol, I actually feel like I got more!

Even starting almost a year out, the entire Del Sol team was extremely communicative throughout the entire process. Ael, the Sales Manager, was as sweet as can be, and personally called to chat with me at various times throughout the process to ensure I felt good about everything, felt comfortable with the proposed timing of events/photography schedule, etc. I also corresponded with Matt and Sol a few times, and they too were wonderful. They even threw out suggestions as to when/where to have my ceremony and reception based on their knowledge of the venue's potential lighting issues, etc. in order to end up with the best possible shots.

Ael got in touch more than a month out to send me the first of two questionnaires, with questions about special details, shot requests, family relationships, etc. - it was extremely comprehensive. She was always extremely quick to answer my questions as well, and as I mentioned, so sweet.

On the big day, Melissa was my principal photographer, and Jonathan was her assistant. Both were so great. They nailed my shot list, and were overall a joy to spend the evening with. They also stayed beyond the agreed-upon time window to get a few remaining shots (bouquet, cake, etc.) after things ran behind. Before they left, I asked them about getting a couple of the edited shots early for my thank you cards, and they promised to ask Ael. Before I even got back to the States, Ael had been in touch with all the follow-up info, and had the early shots I requested a day later. They were so amazing, it was TORTURE to wait for them all. Luckily, as it was not crazy wedding season (and Del Sol is so on top of it, as I mentioned), it's not even a month after my wedding, and I received the full slideshow of images this week, with the picture disc tracking to be delivered next week! That's amazing - I had two close friends get married in Colorado last year, and they both waited four months for their photos to come from the photographers they used!

Overall, I was elated with my entire Del Sol experience. I posted various shots on Facebook, and my family and friends raved about how well the photos showcased the emotion of the day – and how good we looked in them! I highly, highly recommend Del Sol - of all the choices I made for the day, they rank right up there with the dress and the groom as the ones I am happiest with!
