Cons: Food/Drinks/Smell
Vacationed there in April of 2010, 5th trip to the Mayan Riveria and this was my least favorite resort. Grounds are beautiful, beach area is man made so if you're a true beach person this will not cut it. Rooms were ok, a little outdated and the balcony area was very small. Strong smell of sewage around the resort, especially in the buffet restaurant and along the paths. Saw one wedding take place at the Gazebo - it was nice, nothing too special. Food was the worst of the 5 resorts I've been in Mexico. No straws for drinks so it was difficult to drink a pina colada or Miami Vice. Location was good, next door to the Xcaret park and within walking distance to the Xplor park. Stay away from the time share people they are hard core salesman and will harass you forever.
