Everyone is telling me I'm losing too much weight (i'm not trying to p*** anyone else off, i know i used to be p***ed when someone would say they were loosing too much weight), and everyone keeps commenting on it and I am a little scared because I eat well and frequently and am not trying to lose.
|
but seriously anyone with any kind of weight issue (read: all women, lol) should understand what it's like to have problems achieving their ideal weight, whether it be less or more.
it is likely just stress and nothing more serious, but do try the protein shakes. and if you have other types of symptoms or are still worried then definitely see a doctor. unexplained major weight loss can sometimes be a sign of bigger issues.
that said, stress made me eat *everything* that wasn't nailed down for a whole month prior to my wedding, and yet i was still losing weight despite it all! of course, those pounds came flying back after being happily married, lol!
there are a ton of threads on this forum regarding weight/diet/exercise, so check them out as well. it's a tad off-topic for this thread. in the meantime, invest in a push-up bra? hehe

OK, in regards to DJ Mannia, I emailed Cecilia about the discount and was told it does not apply to Dreams brides, I requested any sort of discount they could do as it seems a bit unfair that we are unable to book directly as 30% is a large amount of money to save and never recevied a repsonce....... has anybody had luck getting a discount on DJ Mannia through Cecilia??

that's what she said to me and I havent heard back either. do you think if we contact dj mannia through here, they can work something out with the resort? if not i'm using the mexican trio during dinner instead of during the cocktail hour and just having the dj for the two remaining hours of the reception. I feel like we are already paying enough for dinner and alcohol plus the welcome dinner!! 30% would help out A LOT!! we'll have to keep each other posted
|

Jeez...if we could get 30% off and he was costing around $900 thats almost $300 off the price!! Does anyone know where to get a price list for him. I thought I heard someone on here say around 900 but I don't know what that included...
Anyways like carolina says...if anyone can manage anything keep us in the loop :)

Unfortunately ladies, Mannia has a deal with Dreams, so if you are a Dreams bride, the discount doesn't apply to you.I def don't blame you for trying and if you want to try to fight for it, more power to ya! LOL But Dreams put Mannia on Lock down about a year ago. There was also another DJ downthere, DJ Doremixx who was even cheaper than Mannia...Even his light up dance floor was cheaper. Around the time I was getting married (June 09) I asked my TA to e-mail Claudia and tell her I was using Doremixx and they told me that they were working out a contract with him & that I would have to wait.
Well sure enough..They locked him down too at the same price as they want for Mannia:-(
Needless to say, I never got my DJ for my wedding..It was just too expensive and I had decided I wanted one too last minute.
We had a good time with just the iPod and my playlists and I really think it depends on your crowd,But it would have been better with a DJ.
I think if you can afford the DJ..Go for it. It'll be worth it in the end :) I saw so many weddings the week that I was there, On the beach, with the lighted Dance floor and the DJ and it was Awesome!!!

yes, it's in the main pool. it's shaded and out of the sun, so it's a good place to spend a lot of time if you're trying to avoid tan-lines before the wedding, lol!
