Hi! Our wedding is November 27 and we cannot wait! I couldn't open the attachment you posted about photography - We were going to fly our own - it works out to about $3500 for the one photog - ttd, day of wedding, rehearsal dinner, engagement shoot at home etc. which is a pretty good deal!

The photog on the site is Miguel Cantarelli - I think if you do a search he has been discussed here on other threads!

yes he is the manager at mexicanweddingphotos.com..i have not yet seen threads about him..were they good or bad?

$3500 is a great deal, but wont you pay for the flight and hotel of your FG?

are you having you wedding on the beach or gazebo? a lot of people?

we have only few couples-friends travelling with us...more of a small ceremony for us! and i really want some nice photos, i am thinking to take their photographer - to feel safe...but i was not thrilled with his pics on their website..

Yeah he is giving us his base rate for less than half plus travel which is about $3500 - $4000.

We are getting married on the beach and then having a private reception on the Tequila Terrace. We are expecting about 40 ppl and have 14 booked already.

You could always one of the photogs down there if you are okay with spending a little money - I know that there are a ton on this thread that have done/will do weddings there.

Hi ladies! FI and I are still working out the details, but hopefully all will be set this week and we'll be getting married on August 9 at the Paradisus.

I'm attaching their menus that Melissa sent me last week.

I've got the actual brochure as well, but it's a big file, so I'm going to have to break it up before I can attach.

FI and I will use a package - the very basic one as it includes the gazebo and the officiant. We priced it out and for our 40+ guests, we ended up saving about $450. Not a huge amount, but every penny...

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
