- Text is automatically set to “normal.” You can select the drop down and change it to a range of heading styles that fit your need.
- Play around with the text sizes, and font colors to find your style
Images
- Strengthen your document with engaging imagery
- Select the image icon to embed the image of choice. Right-click on the image for additional features:
1) Edit the image link (URL)
2) Select Image Properties- This will bring up a box with 3 tabs: 1) Image Info, 2) Link, 3) Advanced.
Image editing can be achieved for the most part in the Image Info Tab, which we will focus on.
Image Info Tab Explained:
a. Width- adjust the width of your image. The height of the image will automatically adjust with it so that the image is not distorted. The image metric is by pixels.
b. Height – Height of your image in pixels
** If you do not want your width and height linked, adjusting simultaneously, then click the blue lock icon next to height and width. This will make height and width independent of one another.
c. Boarder- Create a boarder around your image. Type in a number for your boarder’s thickness.
d. HSpace- Horizontal (blank) space surrounding your image. Enter a number for your space thickness.
e. VSpace- Vertical (blank) space surrounding your image. Enter a number for your space thickness.
f. Alignment- This is the alignment of your image. Your options are Left, Right, or <No Set>. <No Set> is the automatic default. Selecting Right will set your image to the right side of your article and wrap the text around it. A preview will display in your Image Properties box. If you set it to Left, then your image will be to the left of your article and the text will be wrapping on the right.
Videos
- Select the film icon
to add relevant videos to your article. You have the ability to add in a link from YouTube or from Vimeo. This feature will embed the video and add a high end look to your article.
